I'm not going to be in school for our lessons today - I'm still coughing after 47 days and the GP has ordered rest.
Could you spend your lesson time making notes on Enthalpy Change of Solution (pg 170-172) in your books and ensure that you are able to:
- define the enthalpy changes involved
- construct cycles appropriately
- use a cycle to calculate an unknown value
You should also be able to explain why some solids have a slightly positive enthalpy change of solution, yet still dissolve (e.g. Q3)
If you have good results from the practical then you may choose to complete the questions from that worksheet instead - using your data to create enthalpy cycles and calculate the missing value.
I will be in on Thursday to look at Entropy ---- wooo...! :)
